You don't need to lose weight first.

You don't need to know how to pose.

You don't need to be twenty-five, have a certain body type or suddenly develop the confidence to walk around in lingerie like you've been doing it your entire life.

That's my job.


Boudoir photography is about seeing yourself a little differently than you normally do.

Maybe you're celebrating a milestone. Maybe you're getting married. Maybe you're creating an incredible gift for someone you love.

Or maybe you're doing this for absolutely no reason other than you want to.


That's reason enough.


YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW HOW TO POSE.

Seriously.


Almost every woman who walks into my studio tells me some version of:

"I have no idea what I'm doing."

Perfect.

You aren't supposed to.


I'll guide you through your session from your expression all the way down to where to put your hands and point your toes.

You don't have to walk in knowing how to look sexy in front of a camera.


You just have to walk in.

I'll handle the rest.

A 30-minute session is perfect if you're looking for a shorter boudoir experience with a focused collection of photographs.

It's also a great choice for your first boudoir session if you're nervous and aren't quite ready to commit to the full experience.

Additional images may be purchased for $25 each.

The 60-minute session gives us more time, more variety and more room to settle into the experience.

We'll have time for additional outfits, different looks and a larger variety of poses and photographs without feeling rushed.

If you want the full boudoir experience, this is the one.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?


Here's the good news:

Boudoir does not automatically mean lingerie.

A bodysuit photographs beautifully. So does an oversized sweater, button-down shirt, tank top, jeans, robe or something belonging to your significant other.

And yes, lingerie works too.

Choose pieces that make you feel good when you put them on—not things you think you're supposed to wear for boudoir photographs.

Bring options.

We'll figure it out together.


BUT I'M NOT CONFIDENT ENOUGH FOR BOUDOIR.


I'm going to let you in on something.

A lot of women aren't.

Confidence isn't something you have to bring with you.

For many women, that's part of the reason they book the session in the first place.

You may feel awkward for the first few minutes.

That's normal.

Then we'll start talking, I'll start directing you, you'll realize this isn't nearly as scary as you built it up to be—and we'll make some damn good photographs.


YOUR PRIVACY MATTERS.


Boudoir photographs are personal.

Your images will never be shared on my website, social media or anywhere else without your permission.

Period.

You never have to agree to have your photographs shared in order to book a session with me.

Your gallery is private, and whether your photographs ever leave it is completely up to you.


DO I HAVE TO GET NAKED?


Nope.

Your session is yours.

You decide what you wear, how much you show and what you're comfortable photographing.

There is never any pressure to remove something or photograph anything outside your comfort level.


DO YOU RETOUCH MY BODY?


My goal isn't to turn you into somebody else.

I'll professionally edit your final photographs while keeping you looking like you.

Good posing, flattering lighting and camera angles do an incredible amount of the work before I ever open an image in Photoshop.

I'm not here to give you somebody else's body.

I'm here to photograph yours beautifully.

If you do see some flaws that you want covered, we'll talk about it.


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


I've never done this before. Is that okay?

Absolutely.


Most people aren't professional boudoir models. You don't need any experience whatsoever.

I'll direct you throughout the entire session.


Can I bring more than one outfit?

Yes. The number of outfit changes will depend on the session you choose and how quickly we move.


Can I bring a friend?

Boudoir sessions are a private, one-on-one experience, so guests are not permitted during your session.

This policy protects everyone's privacy, keeps the studio comfortable and distraction-free, and allows me to give you my full attention throughout your session.

Having another person in the room—even your best friend—can also make you much more aware of yourself. Boudoir involves detailed posing, expressions and subtle adjustments, and it's much easier to relax when you aren't wondering who's watching from across the room.

It also protects the privacy of other clients who may be arriving or leaving the studio.

Don't worry about coming alone. I'll guide you through every pose, every expression and every awkward "what do I do with my hands?" moment. 😂

Once that studio door closes, it's your time.


Can I bring alcohol to calm my nerves?


Yes—with limits.

If you're 21 or older, you're welcome to bring a small amount of alcohol to help take the edge off before your session. One glass of wine is fine. One bottle of wine is not.

You must remain completely in control of yourself and be able to legally and safely drive when your session is over. Alcohol should never be consumed to the point that it affects your judgment, balance, communication or ability to comfortably participate in your session.

If I believe you are impaired, your session will be stopped.

Illegal drugs and recreational drug use are not permitted at KLP Studio.

A little liquid courage? Fine. 🥂

Getting hammered before taking your pants off in my studio? We're not doing that. 😂


Will my photographs be posted online?


Not unless you specifically give me permission.

Your boudoir photographs are private by default.


Can I purchase additional photographs?


Yes. Additional edited images beyond those included with your session may be purchased for $25 each.


Where are boudoir sessions photographed?


Boudoir sessions take place privately at KLP Studio in Paris, Texas.
